Frances Jacobsen Obituary
She was a loving, dedicated mother; caring, supportive wife; wonderful Grandmother and beloved friend. She left the irreplaceable legacy of a well lived life which influenced and shaped her family, friendships and pursuits. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She resided in Houston and was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Jacobsen; and grandson, James Arthur Jacobsen.
She is survived by her son, Scott Thomas Jacobsen; daughter, Kathleen Marie Smith; brother, Robert Dickey; grandchildren, William Edward Jacobsen, Nathanael Ross Smith, Reagan Christopher Smith, Alexandra Renee Jacobsen, and Adrienne Grace Smith.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from three o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening on Friday, the 21st of June in the parlor and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The funeral service is to be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 22nd of June, in the Jasek Chapel, also at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons.
An interment service is to follow, via an escorted cortege, at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Houston Affiliate, 5433 Westheimer Rd., Ste. 325,Houston, TX, 77056; the American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX, 77057; or to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, Gulf Coast Chapter Leukemia Cup Regatta- Racing in honor of Jane Jacobsen, 5433 Westheimer Rd., Ste. 300, Houston, TX. 77056.
