I worked with Fritz in the mid 2000's. He was so generous, fun, and smart. Always great memories when thinking of Fritz.

I worked with Fritz at Shell '87-'89 with Logic Project.
He was was a good guy to work with, not a micro manager!

Oh my, what dear memories I have of Fritz and Marilyn and their two adorable boys, George and Olen. We met at our neighborhood park with our two sons, Doug and George. Olen came along soon after. It was a magical, fun time. We had so much fun and energy. I am so very sorry to learn of Fritz's death. He was one of the very best and still lots of fun with a sparkle in his eyes. Much love to you and see you on the 30th. Mona & Paul Keegan

During my Jr high, high school and college years at Central MO, I didn't have a better friend. We hung out together, did ham radio together and worked on his 66 mustang. We both enjoyed electronics but he was way ahead of me and I learned a lot from him. I was one of the ushers at his wedding. We certainly have lost a great man. My most sincere condolences to Marilyn and all the family.

My deepest condolences to Fritz's wife Marilyn and his sons George and Olen and their families. I first got to know Fritz when he joined Shell's Petrophysics Research Group at Bellaire Research Center sometime in the early 1980's (1982 as I recall) when I was supervisor of that group. He was a wonderful addition to the group, a dedicated scientist and researcher, and an absolute pleasure to work with. One of the good guys! He will be missed.

Fritz was one of those researchers who was a pleasure to be around. I could count on cogent comments - from low key, ironic humor to stimulating technical observations. He is an indelible feature in my fond memories of life at BTC.
