Tim & Elisabeth,
Unfortunately I do know how you feel. We lost our son Matthew(9)four years ago in an ATV accident. A day will not pass with out you thinking about him and you will need all the love and support from your family, friends, and faith. We attended Bo's Place and it really helped us deal with the loss and helped our other son, Mark. Grief is a process that we all must go through at some point in our lives. Of course, you never think you will bury a child and it is most likely the first experience of death for your children. The loss is so profound because you lose a part of who you are and you lose the future you had planned with George. With time, you will be able to move forward...slow, and cautious as first....but forward...You will cry (alot) but you will also find laughter again...from some memory of him. Be not afraid to speak of him in your home. He will always be part of your life...just not in the human form.
I pray you find peace and may God bless you and keep you.

Your faith at this time inspires me. I do not know you, as I'm new to the parish of St. Thomas More, but have seen your courage and instrumental faith before others in such a trying time at daily Mass. My prayers will continue for your family and young George. As many have said, I believe that God has opened His arms in welcome to George and that George will watch over your family and be ever-present. God bless and keep you -

Dear all,
I was reading the Chronicle, and I came across this obituary. I do not know this boy, but it really broke my heart to read that an innocent youngster lost his life at such a young age. I express my condolences onto all of the grieving, and will pray for you in church today.
God bless,
Michael Gregory

Tim and Elisabeth: You are an inspiration to us all! Saying goodbye to George as you have done has been glorious. So many people support you in this loss. Possibly George has been looking down at the many tributes for his life of 13 years on this earth. You all have been so gracious to everyone who came to help to say farewell. God in His Glory- I feel has greeted your George with open arms. Sofie, Carl and Paul showed such character as well through this whole time. You are wonderful children of God - and are passing that knowledge down to your children. Stay strong in your Faith. Times will be difficult ahead. God will continue watching over you - as He does for all of us.
I love you!

Dear Tim, Elisabeth and family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you during this difficult time. As I sat at the cathedral this afternoon I was great foul for the opportunity to have met George on my first visit to Houston. Upon arriving at your home, George greeted us with a sweet and warm smile and then proceeded to finish preparing delicious appetizers which he and Sophie kept refilling during our visit. What a fine young man George was and how mature for his age! George was the product of a loving home and wonderful parenting - you should be so proud! It was hard not to shed a tear at today's service, but it gives me comfort to know that your George is now with our Lord planning for the time when we will all be together again. You are all in our thoughts and prayers...blessings,

Dear Belton family,
My daughters and their kindergarten classmates had the priveledge of having George as their coach at STM. They loved how he use to carry them joyfully across the soccer field when they scored a goal. I still remember those smiles. He brought joy, good sportmanship and confidence to those children. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with your family and may God bless you.

Dear Tim and Elisabeth,
Our hearts are breaking for you. George is such a beautiful child and so very precious to you. We can only imagine the pain you are experiencing at this most difficult time. We, the body of Christ will hold you and your children up in prayer. We will cover you with prayer so you will be able to endure the difficult days ahead. I will continue to pray day by day and to thank God for sending us your fine son, George. He made our world a better place.
