To the family of George, I am very sad and surprised to see George pass. I have known him most of my life, and he was always smiling. I will really miss seeing him at the La Porte Fair, we always hooked up there and hung out for a while. I was busy during his services, giving my services to handcapped children, so I am sorry I could not be there to tell him goodbye. I will stop at the cemetary this week and say my good byes. Kelly, is you need anything or just want to talk, I am here for you.
Loving your family always,

You have been such a major influence in my life and it will never be the same without you. I wish I could had spent more time with you as an adult. I'm going to miss the unbelievable stories, talks, private jokes… but more than all I will miss my uncle.
Love always,
John

Deborah,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. It is so difficult to lose a parent. Give this to God and he will bring you through it. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. May your Daddy rest in peace. Love you.

Dad, I'm sitting here looking at photos and my heart breaks knowing you won't be here for any more. I wonder how many pics of the grandbabies I'll send you before I remember your not there to receive them. The next few days will be some of the hardest of my life and I hope you help me get through them. Your children and grandchildren sat out on your back deck tonight and remembered stories that had tears rolling down our faces from laughter....thanks for those moments, everyone agrees they'll always be cherished. I hope your friends share more stories - and it sure will be hard to beat Al's. I love and miss you dad, Deb.

Deb, Bubba & Darla:
During this heartfelt difficult time you are experiencing please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Deb, forty years ago we meet in school and befriended one another. Upon introducing our families we found out that your Mom and my Mom knew each other from their years in school. That kindled a family friendship that my family and I have cherished. As a young girl growing up, in my eyes your Dad seemed larger than life itself. Your Dad's life was exciting, fascinating, intriguing and he was most successful in his endeavors. George experienced many milestones in his life. Anyone who knew George knew how proud he was of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for you all.
George exuberated peacefulness and that is how he left our world in a state of tranquility.
Know I am here for you all anytime you need comfort, support or just want to reminisce your most cherished moments.
Love you all,
Alix Fox
