Georges Mouawad Obituary

GEORGES T. MOUAWAD, 82 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2007 surrounded by the love and prayers of family members and friends in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 7, 1925 in Deir-el-Kamar, Lebanon. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Bassira Najjar Mouawad, his five daughters Lucie and husband Michael Ogdee of Bellaire, Texas, Chantal and husband Luc Graux of Tours, France, Carole and husband Joseph Zehri of Sugar Land, Texas, Pascale and husband Matthias Schwab of Portland, Oregon and Caline and husband Patrick O'Sullivan of Brooklyn, New York and his ten grandchildren. Friends are invited to join the prayer services that will be held at Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Church, 11935 Bellfort Village, Houston, Tx 77031 on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 with the Rosary starting at half past six o'clock in the evening and the Funeral Mass at half past seven o'clock in the evening. Burial will be in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Church.

Ammo Georges will be dearly missed. What a fine man he was! May he enjoy eternal life in the presence of the Lord.
We pary for you, Tante Bousra, for Lucie, Chantal, Carole, Pascale, and Caline. May The Good Lord grant you strength during these very difficult times.
We were fortunate to have known Ammo Georges and we mourn his loss with you.
