GLADICE F. MACDONALD June 10, 1927 - July 18, 2002 We did not know that morning, God would call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Our Lord and Savior came for Mother July 18, 2002. She is now with her Savior and reunited with so many loved, family, friends and the love of her life our father Eugene C. MacDonald who God called home on July 23, 1988. They are both young and beautiful and strong again. Survived by daughter Linda MacDonald of Bayou Vista, Texas; son Randy MacDonald of La Marque, Texas; granddaughter Erin Fain of Arlington, Texas; great grandson Dylan Fain; grandson Michael Godsey of Houston, Texas and twin sister Glenice Prongea of Hoilday, Florida. A memorial graveside service will be Monday, July 29, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. at the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas with Pastor Michael Welmer officiating and under the direction of the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, Texas.
