Glenn Lively Obituary
5/24/1926- 8/20/2013
Glenn Born in Horse Cave, KY. Raised in Louisville, KY. Attended Berea College in eastern KY, where he met his beloved wife, Lois Kyer. After working as a journalist for the Louisville Courier-Journal, his career path led him to raise funds for charitable organizations, including United Way and Red Cross before moving to Houston in 1959. He continued to work for Red Cross and later became director of Texas Society for the Prevention of Blindness and March of Dimes. He retired from Baylor College of Medicine in 1996. Throughout his life and after retirement, he continued to raise funds for his alma mater, Berea College. He is survived by his wife, Lois, 2 sons, Marc and Greg, 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, his sister, Pauline, and brother, Sam, Jr.
