I sat beside Gretchen in the "alto" section throughout high school choir during my time @ Spring Branch. She made every day there something to smile about. She made it fun.
She was always someone to look up to.

It wont be long before we see your face and hear your voice.. We know that you are in a better place and smile down on us as your choice.. The love you gave brougth smiles and tears..enough to last us for the remainder of our years.. Until that time that we see you in Glory.. you've finished yours, now its time for us to finish our stories.. God's is near to all those who are mourning and lift their tears to the sky, so take all the time you need for even God said there was a time to cry.
We will remember Gretchen for the love that she gave, the laughter that she touched others hearts with ,and for the rememberance of her that lives on through her family and loved ones. We understand that she finished her race of life according to the length that God gave her, now we too need to finish ours. May God continue to be with her family, loved ones, and dear friends...

Gretchen you will be missed by so many... I know you are in a wonderful place and at rest without pain.
Your friendship with my younger sister Dana will be cherished by her until you both meet again. Your children, family and friends will cherish their memories of you and the blessed time we all had with you. The Lord will comfort each of us during this time and you will be our Angel to watch over us.
