To Theresa & the entire Wagner family

I read the sad news only today while looking for Hans's contact Info. Hans & I were colleagues at Hughes Tool Company in
Houston 34 years ago.We later worked together in Aberdeen when he joined Baker Hughes. Hans was handsome & had a great sense of humor in addition to being smart
& always well dressed.

Please accept my belated condolences. We all lost a kind man & a good friend.
God bless his soul.

With best wishes for the Wagner family.

It is with great sadness I just found out about the passing of Hans. As many have said, he was a true gentleman of the oilfield! I met Hans by chance in 2002 and it turned out we had both worked at Baker Hughes. Hans and I met many times in Latin America and Houston. We became good friends. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends in Latin America.

Theresa & family,
Just want to let you know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Hans was a tremendous person & we are so lucky to have known him. We all had such great times together & the void he has left in the Pre Geezers group will never be filled. We'll never forget the good times we had on the hiking trips, at the Valentines dinners, super bowl parties & Westlake Club events.
We love you all.

Theresa, Alex, Christoph, Klaus, Johanna, and family:

All of the Schwing's are in grief and you have all been in our prayers and thoughts. After knowing him some 44 years Hans is and will be sorely missed. He was like a brother. For me what comes to mind of fond memories include the look on his face when he heard I named my Dachshund Hans back then, his first pair of cowboy boots, him riding horseback in a gallop on the Brenham farm, times in Galveston visiting, working, and him water skiing, your marriage, the birth of and seeing your children and their growth, sharing Thanksgiving and Christmas back then, talking about how and what the children are doing, discussions about the state of the oil and gas industry, and the OTC parties. He is missed although his spirit lives on in you and everyone else his life touched, thus his spirit and the love he has for you is quite large. Hugs and God bless you all.

Theresa, Hanna and families, the gallery of photos shows what a wonderful time of sharing in all stages of life you all had. Undoubtedly you will look at them often and remember the joy and happiness. Although our family did not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Hans, it is evident he touched many lives. We continue to pray that God grants you strength to face each day, knowing how much you miss Hans and your Dad.

Theresa, so very sorry for your loss. Hans was one in a million - I will miss our occassional phone chats and our yearly birhday lunches. He was always so sweet to remember my birthday - he would always give me a call and we would spend a few minutes catching up on both of our families. He was so proud of his children and he always spoke so highly of you. I'm sure you will all miss him very much. He would want you all to share the good memories and get on with your lives as best you can. It gets easier with time I'm told.

I have had a great friend in Brother Hans. There are many fond memories from breakfast gatherings at Snappy's to Valentines parties and Super Bowl parties with the rest of the PreGeezers and their wives. I will always cherish the time we had on the PreGeezer fishing trip to Alaska.

I worked with Hans at Hughes Tool Co. in the 80's.
He was a really neat man.
We lost touch but reconnected about 3 years ago, had lunch a couple of times and vowed to do so again.
I am saddened to hear of his passing, although he had told me of his illness.
A great person who will be missed.

Theresa and family, we see from your pictures what a special husband and father you were graced to enjoy. The laughs, the stories, the smiles they communicate. And even though it may seem like you may never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back smiles. Theresa, you are all in our every prayer. Dear Theresa, although we didn't know Hans that well, but for a long time, we miss him too and will remember him for the good man he was, a positive family man, kind, friendly with an easy smile and good humor.
The picture of both of you in good shape and good spirits, at Julia's wedding last year, will remain in our hearts for a long time. Please keep in touch with us.
Sincerely, Detlef & Romana

Theresa and Family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The world has lost a good man. I have known Hans almost 10 years and he was one of the most positive men I have ever known. I was fortunate to know Hans the business man and Hans the family man. As the head of a small company, it was easy to see the respect that his employees had for him. As a family man that man loved his wife! Whenever possible, Hans took time to tell me about what Theresa and his children were up to always with a big smile on his face. He was very proud. I'm sure that he is in a good place. My prayers are with you guys.

I met Hans at the West Lake Club. I enjoyed our many conversations. Often we discussed his son who had joined the Armed Forces and was serving abroad. He was very mindful of the number of days before he returned home safely. During my walks I would always look across the creek for Hans and Theresa to see if they were out and about. He'll be missed by many. Steve Moss

I knew Hans Wagner from our time together at Houston Engineers and NOMADS. Hans was a great man, and a pleasure to associate with. He worked with me at Houston Engineers for a number of years. He was smart, reliable, pleasant, hard working, a true asset to the company. You could rely on Hans to get a job well done, and with due consideration of others and their points of view. He will be missed by all who knew him: family, friends, co-workers, and fellow NOMADS. Hans, may you rest in eternal peace. Thank you for being my friend.
