When I began my career with GE, Harry was one of the first people I can in contact with. His enthusiasm and vibrant spirit were encouraging. To maintain your spirits in a role for a number of years, means he enjoyed his work and his life. That spirit should be contagious and will be missed.

Harry was a great friend and we enjoyed many laughs together. He taught me not to take life so seriously, and to always stand up for myself as a woman. since I had no family in town, he picked me up when I had my wisdom teeth pulled and I was drooling the whole way home - he bought me popsicles and got my medicine filled-he was that kind of guy.

Harry was instrumental in getting me into sales. He was a visionary and always a customer advocate. Harry always had a creative way to make solutions work out. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Harry will be missed as "entertainer of the troups".
Harry was the last of the super salesmen, who knew that to know your customer on a personal level was more important to success than any technical and marketing knowledge.

I was a secretary for Harry Kent in the 70's at General Electric. Being the first Black secretary for ISD, Harry always made me feel welcome. He was very helpful and always there to answer any questions. My deepest sympathy to the Kent family.
