I was very sorry to learn about Kendall's death recently. While we have not seen each other often as adults, Kendall and I spent a lot of time together growing up. We were in the same class all through Roberts Elementary, carpooled together to Pershing Jr. High, and were in classes together at Lamar Sr. High. We were then roommates during our last two years at the University of Texas. I remember the many fun times we had together, and I consider myself fortunate to have had such a good friend as Kendall during all those years.

Kendall and I were friends before and during the 7th grade. We rode our bicycles around the Village, listened to 45's at the Record Shop and attended school dances together. It was a carefree time and I will always remember him with affection. My condolences to his family.

Kendall and I were best of friends at Lamar and room mates at Texas. He visited me often when I lived in New Mexico. We were both avid lovers of boats and fishing so I have many fish stories. The loss of his smile, his laughter, and his love of life leaves a great void in my life. Con mucho carino dear friend.

Kendall was a gentle and caring person as we went through school together. We renewed our friendship while planning one of our Lamar reunions and I was reminded of how NICE he always was. He will be missed at our upcoming 50th reunion. Please know that I will be praying for his siblings tomorrow during his memorial service. Blessings,

I knew Kendall as a friend at the University of Texas, and as a cousin who collaborated with me on the Hamilton family tree. His mom Jewell was the last of the second generation wives and was a treasure. I use to see both Kendall and Jewell at the HYC. I am sorry he is gone and will miss him.

Kendall was my "forever" friend and his passing leaves a gigantic hole in my heart! We attended Oran M. Roberts Elementary School together and our friendship went all the way through our HS graduation from Mirabeau B. Lamar High School. We kept in close contact with each other through the years. He was a wonderful caring person and will be greatly missed by his family and the Dryden Road gang who all grew up together and remain friends to this day. We all loved and will continue loving this dear man and we will miss him more than words can express!

To Will, Anne, and Brooke, my deepest sympathy, to all of you.I know Kendall put up a valiant fight to the end, and now, is finally, at peace. It seems like just yesterday, when we were kids growing up on Dryden. Those, as you know, are very cherished memories. I will remember him, fondly. How blessed he was, to have all of you, so attentive and loving, for his whole life...I am also blessed, for having known him.
Love, Cynthia
