Herbert Clifton Allen III passed peacefully in his sleep while at St. Luke's Hospital on Friday, June 24 in Houston, TX at the age of 62.
Herb was born on November 24, 1953 in Houston,TX. He graduated from Bellaire High School in 1972 and attended Texas Tech University and the University of Houston. He went on to work in petroleum and land management. He later worked for Atomic Energy Industrial Laboratories for over 30 years.
Herb is survived by his two sons, Herbert Clifton Allen IV and Gilford Michael Allen, as well as daughter-in-law Heidi Novosad Allen and three grand-daughters Izabelle, Olivia, and Caroline.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at Willow Meadows Baptist Church in Houston at 11:00 AM.
