Aunt Viola, Mike, Carol, Steve & Kathy- So sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Ham. He was such a vibrant person and someone that I will always have fond memories of. I pray that God will grant you all the strength & courage to face the days, weeks & months ahead without your loved one. You all are in my prayers! Sorry I won't be able to attend any of the services. God bless you all!!

Back in the late 1960s, Herman built a large bookcase for us. We were newlyweds living in an apartment. My husband knew him from church and the Knights of Columbus. Herman was a kind, generous man to us. He built a very nice book case, then he refused to take any payment. That bookcase is in my study now, still as strong and sturdy as the day he built it. I believe everything Herman did, he did with skill and craftsmanship.
