He was the most dependable and competent team mate. I was very fond of Hiep and it was my misfortune not to see him after he came to the US.
Sincere condolences to his family.

At CCN I always enjoyed talking with Hiep. He was always willing to help me with my Vietnamese language and was a great teacher for me.

Ong Hiep's bravery and valor are a lasting memory to those who knew him, and knew of him. He fought valiantly with other brave men, both Americans and Vietnamese, in the struggle against communism. We shall always remember him, his courage, and his sacrifice.

Condolences to Hiep's family and friends. I had the privilege of meeting him and enjoyed hearing about his experiences in Vietnam. Hiep served both the Republic of Vietnam and the United States with honor and courage. He was a warrior who fought for several years alongside US Special Forces on the most hazardous of assignments. RIP Hiep.
