Her love for animals was a huge part of her life. We met through mutual friends and had lots of great meals and good laughs together. She always included me if she had an extra ticket for something, and we saw lots of live music together. I will miss our banter and chats on social media. She never failed to offer my name to someone who needed a dog walker or pet tending.

I've known Isabel and her family since they moved to Hillsboro in the 1960s. They have been part of my life and that of my family for so many years (and they introduced me to delicious Cuban food at a young age). I was fortunate to have lunch with Isabel in Houston last May...two dear friends catching up on all the news. Isabel, you are already missed. Much love to the family.
