My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you go through this difficult time. I pray that you get the strength you need to get through this. With the help of God you can. He {GOD} says throw your burdens on him and he himself will sustain you. [Psalms 55:22] i hope this brings you a little comfort.

May God bless and keep you in his arms forever. You have given me many fond memories of family gatherings; "scary" appointments, especially the last day of school every year when we got our yearly vaccinations; and those wonderful house calls. I will always remember you.

Dr. Ulert was the kindest, most gentle of gentlemen I had the privilege to meet. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his lovely family.

To the family of Dr. Ulert;
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
My sister and I were the first set of twins Dr. Ulert ever delivered. According to our mother he was as surprised as she and our father (way back then you did not do ultrasounds). We were told he said Oh my gosh, there is another one, and then very capably took control of the situation and the delivery was accomplished without incident. Several years later when he delivered our younger sister he was ready for anything, but there was only one.
We remember when Dr. Ulert came to the house when we were ill, oh, those wonderful days of house calls. He made you feel like a part of his family and was always available when you needed him. We were lucky to have him as our doctor for many, many years. Dr. Ulert was such a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr Ulert when he began bringing his dog to the veterinary practice where I am employed. Over the past few years I became friends with Dr Ulert. I would love to listen to his stories of the "old" days. He would beam with pride when he told me about the artificial heart that he invented. Dr Ulert is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He had a brilliant mind and a kind heart - the world lost a special man but I know he now at peace. Bless him and his family

To the family of Dr. Ulert,
Shortly after I moved to Houston, I needed to see a doctor. My aunt gave me the name and number of her doctor, Dr. Ulert. What a priceless reference that became. I remained one of his patients until he retired. He never rushed an appointment and never failed to call you back if you left a message for him to call you. After both of my surgeries that he performed, he called me every night until he saw me in his office. Dr. Ulert will always has a place in my heart. Praying that peace and comfort will be with you.
With caring thoughts and sympathy,

To the family of dear Dr. Ulert: He was first the Barr family physician, and when Robert and I married he became mine, as well. He delivered our first two babies----by the third child he was no longer doing deliveries. He did thyroid surgery on me, an apendectomy on Robert, delivered babies for other Barr family members, and other surgeries on family members. He attended our 50th wedding anniversary celebration and we would occasionally see him at the Retired Physicians functions. He was a beloved doctor and friend. Farewell, Dr. Ulert. Dr. Robert and Betty Barr
