J. Bodin Obituary
02/15/1950 - 02/26/2025
John Eric Bodin, M.D., was born on the 15th of February, 1950 in Houston, and passed away in Houston on Wednesday, the 26th of February, 2025. He was 75 years of age.
Dr. Bodin was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and June Bodin. He is survived by his wife, Pat Curtis Hewlett Bodin of Houston; his children, Christa Frey and her husband Manuel of New York City, New York, Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson and her husband James of La Jolla, California, and Ali Ho and her husband J.C. of Spartanburg, South Carolina; his five grandchildren, Chase, Devon, Tristan, Coco, and Sophie; his siblings, Philippe Bodin of Tucson, Arizona, and Julie Converse of Mountain Brook, Alabama.
A heartfelt thanks goes to his compassionate caregivers Jessica and Patty Campos as well as the staff at Silverado Hermann Park, Elder Advisory Group, Allied Home Health, and personal physical therapists Colin and Kevin.
A celebration of Eric's life is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 14th of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Immediately following all will be invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org or SPCA at houstonspca.org or to a charity of your choice.
