I am sorry to hear of Jacob's death. I had Jacob in 4th grade at Northampton Elem.. I feel blessed that God let me touch his life for the short time that he was on this Earth.

Dear Davis family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know this was felt by everyone who knew him. I had Jake in 8th grade Math and he was so polite and such a hard worker. I always knew he would turn out to be a fine young man. In reading this guest book, there's no doubt he did. He was a blessing to all who knew him.

The devestating news of Jake's sudden death has hit a nerve in my own family. Chris and Bob knew Jake, and we enjoyed the time he shared with our family.
My heart hurts! I know God always has a plan, but we don't always understand it.

I am so sorry to have heard of Jake's death. I have so many happy memories of being Jake's teacher during his Junior year at Klein Oak. He was very special to me and I always enjoyed any opportunity that I had to talk with him. His joy for life and his faith is an example that we should all follow. I just wanted you to know that Jake lives on in the memories of many people. I still remember the serious little Jake in 3rd grade... very shy, and yet he'd do anything for me or others in the class. No words can ease your pain, but please know that even though we don't know each other personally, your family is in my family's thoughts and prayers. I didn't know Jake well, but was very impressed with his friendliness and confidence. He was sweet to my daughter, Chelsea, and even sent her a note before he left for camp. I was so sad to learn about Jacob. I did not know him, but I remember Kyle and Rita when Kyle was working in Dilley at our church. I remember Dillon's birth (we were at Super Summer and Kyle had to drive back), and later, heard you had had a second son (your family had moved to Spring by this time). I will be thinking of you and your family at this terrible time...

I can't even begin to imagine the heartbreak you must be feeling during this difficult time. My daughter, Chloe, was very close to Jake. She says he is the absolute nicest, sweetest boy in the world. He meant a lot to Chloe, and from what I understand, there are many, many more that feel the same way.

Something has drawn me to this guestbook. I did not know your Jacob A......but we lost our own Jacob Andrew Dade Richards 5 years ago. He was only 4 years old. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. Your Jacob seemed to share some of his qualities.....zest for life, could light up a room with his presence.....I like to believe that his spirit is reborn periodically in young men like your son. And whenever I see his name in the obits, he is letting me know that he has once again filled the world with his presence and has fulfilled yet another mission. I hope this brings you peace....knowing that he will return again.

Jake was a great kid and determined to be all that he could be. I think he achieved his goal. He never let the bumps in the road stop him.

Jake was a truly unique person. I will never forget all of his trips out to the barn, to visit with Justin and Kendal, when we were there to take care of the animals.
