James Eugene "Gene" Hambrick
1929-2020
James Eugene "Gene" Hambrick, 91, of Pasadena,TX died December 7, 2020. He was born April 24,1929 in Houston,TX to Myrtle and Raymond Hambrick. Gene graduated from Galena Park High School and attended Allen Academy in Bryan,TX. He graduated from University of Houston with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering. He served in the US Army from 1953-55. Gene married Virginia, and they spent 54 joyful years together. He retired after a 35+ year career with Armco Steel. Gene was an avid sportsman who enjoyed traveling and working on projects at his home and farm.
He is survived by sons James L. Hambrick and wife Angela, John R. Hambrick and wife Kelly, and grandchildren James L. Hambrick Jr. and Erin Hambrick.
A memorial service at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta,TX will be held at a future date.
