James Haywood Obituary

James E. Haywood, 75, of Pearland/Livingston/Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on July 21, 2014.
He was born to the late James and Elizabeth Haywood, June 25, 1939 in Brownsville, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Martha A. Haywood; daughter, Marcie K. Beacker; son, James S. Haywood; brothers, Charles Haywood, John Haywood; grandchildren, Justin S. Haywood, Jamie L. Hadley, Mykaela A. Haywood, Parker J. Beacker, Bailee E. Haywood; great grandchildren, Kaelyn M. Haywood, Austin A. Haywood and numerous family members and friends.
"Jim/Bo" graduated from Brownsville High School in 1957; joined the USAF and earned a B.B.A. from the University of Houston in 1965 also that year he employed with Lockheed as an employment recruiter where he soon became H.R. manager, H.R. Director, and finally Vice President Human Resources for Lockheed Martin Engineering and Sciences until his retirement in 1996.
"Jim/Bo" was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who had a passion for travel, fishing, boating, the outdoors when spent with family and friends; especially the times with the grandkids….
A "Celebration of Life" memorial will be held on July 26, 2014 at La Brisa Mexican Bar and Grill in League City, Texas.

Jim was a wonderful person with special light surounding him. He was full of laughter and love. To know him was to love him. Donald and I will miss him. Our love and prayers are with you Martha and family.
