James Hendrix Obituary

JAMES JOSEPH HENDRIX passed away peacefully on May 26, 2009 in Houston, TX. He was born on October 5, 1950 to the union of Billy and Ruby Hendrix. James was a lifelong resident of Houston, TX, and served the community as a Paramedic and Fire Fighter in the Houston Fire Department for 25 years. He was also proud to have served his country in the US Marine Corps. James was devoted to his family and will be deeply missed. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 10 years, Sandra Hendrix, mother, Ruby Hendrix, sons; James Dean Hendrix and wife Marty, David McIntyre and wife Kirsten, Aaron Hendrix, Christopher Hendrix, Billy Jack Hendrix, daughter, Mariah Hendrix, 1 grandson, Dalton Brian Hendrix, 1 granddaughter Lacy McIntyre as well as an abundance of friends. The family request visitation hours to be observed on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel. Please visit www.mem.com to send online memorial tributes to the family.
