Dear family of Blue,
I remember his kind face most of all. Although I did not see Blue that often, as I am a friend of the community and not a full time member, the times I did see Blue he would always smile at me and greet me with kindness.
I pray for your sorrow to be met with consolation from our Creator God and Lover of Life.
Sincerely,
Danielle

Thank God he's at rest! But we'll miss him at Emanuel.

I knew Blue from Emanuel Lutheran Church. I always appreciated that even though he did not attend every week, he would recognize me and visit with me and others around the church. He didn't just walk out the back after service.
I want his family to know that he spoke about them and that he sounded like he was proud of them. His family will be in our prayers.

I knew "Blue" through Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dallas. He lived in our neighborhood and attended occasionally. Several years ago he was quite active in helping with some of our street ministry, even though he had his own struggles.
I think under his tough exterior he had faith in Jesus and I'm glad he was part of our church. I think Emanuel was a good thing in his life. We'll miss him.

We knew James as "Blue" and often prayed for him at our church Emanuel Lutheran. He spoke of his family often and of his son. His love of motorcyles were often a topic of conversation. Our prayers will still continue for his family and friends.

I went to high school with Jimmy Hinson. I was browsing the obits today and saw his notice. I wish his son and family peace and bid them remember that the true meaning of things is hidden from us, but that all things are working toward something good.
