I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I remember so many fun times as a child with Jimmy. How awful this must be for all of you. Now that with God's help you can endure all things. Love, Pattie Currie

Today I returned to California after spending the past week in Texas with my brother's family. My heart aches with sorrow, but is soothed by the tremendous outpouring of support shown to Melodee, the kids and the rest of our family since Jim's accident. We always knew he was special, but didn't fully realize the magnitude of his influence on so many others. "Thank You" is not enough to express our appreciation for the kindness shown to us by the soccer community, Baker Atlas, neighbors and friends from Houston and around the world. I feel blessed to have met so many wonderful, kind people in Texas and hope that, given the opportunity, I would touch someone else in their time of need as you all have touched us. Peace and healing to you.

Mr. Reese as I have always called him was my cllub coach for aabout 3-4 years. There wasn't a day that went by at practie or a game that he wouldn't ask... "So Kristy how is everything going". He always had a smile and had a very joking personality. I am so thankful that I was able to graduate from Challenge and he was there to be our coach the whole way through. He was a great guy that traveled all over the world. He will truely be missed and made a profound effect on numerous lives. You will be missed but I know you are in a better place now and are looking down upon everyone.

I have nothing but great memories of Jim. He and I have known one another for 20 plus years and his birthday is the day before mine. I remember calling him from the mountains of Wyoming this year just to remind him that "I was chasing Elk in the High Country". His response was 100% Jim. I will miss my friend dearly and I will always carry him in my heart to the mountains. We had good times there and he always seemed one with the outdoors. God has a fantastic sidekick to help him with his chores. My heart and thoughts go out for Mel & the kids. But I cannot think of anyone better to look over them and their future. God bless and Jim... I will look up from the mountains and think of you always.

I would like to send my condolences to Melody and the kids. Jim was a wonderful guy. I was his first secretary when he was the Technical Manager for NL McCullough in Midland,TX many years ago. I will never forget how he was with his young family. He was quite the family man, adoring his children and deeply in love with Mel. He was a wonderful boss and I appreciated his kind ways and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by all of his friends from all over the world.

It was a terrible phone call to haer of Jim's passing. I hand the honor to work with Jim for several years and was amazed at how well he kept his cool in adverse situations. He will be missed.

We have so many fond memories of Jim. I still think about how in New York Holly wouldn't get into the ocean because of sharks, and Jim through her in. We look back and just laugh about some of the fun things that happened over the four years that Holly played for him. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all during this hard time.
Sincerely
