My condolences to all mourning the loss of Mr. Jim Saye. I personally appreciate his efforts to preserve and enhance the historical photographic images of Houston taken by Bob and Marvin Bailey. Rest In Peace, Sir.

Jim Saye was one of the good guys in life. He was a great story-teller, writer and historian. He also was a real gentleman and one of the kindest people I have ever met. Houston will be a less interesting place with his passing, but it is a better place for him having lived here.
