I will choose to remember the Jimmy Sewell I knew at TAMUG. Always a very sweet guy and an absolute riot to hang with. Never at a loss for a story that would leave everyone laughing. A real gem. I hope he has found the peace that he was struggling to find. Rest in peace, friend!!!

Jimmy had a beautiful voice and it was always a pleasure singing near him -he was always positive no matter what was going on in his life. We will miss him.

My favorite Jimmy memory was calc 151 with Jimmy and Dr. Szucs exclaiming, back and forth, about "finding the volume of a potato." Don't you eat potatoes in Texas? and Jimmy would laugh and say, NO, we eat BBQ in Texas.

Jimmy singing talents had also been appreciated when he was a Chancel Choir member at St Luke's United Methodist Church. He was probably the best of us all in using his smile for bringing the congregation into the music portion of the church service. We will miss Jimmy's warm friendship.

On Wednesdays and Sundays, Jim always brought enthusiasm and a smile to the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Choir. We are grateful he shared those gifts with us.

Shocked. Very sorry to hear. Jimmy taught me a lot about commercial operations of tankers. Fair winds and following seas, Jimmy
