JAMISON (JAMIE) LEE RENFROE
11/13/1966 - 10/22/2025
Jamie, beloved son, father and brother, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Houston on November 13, 1966 to parents Ginger Nelson Renfroe and Jack Renfroe, and shared the first of many birthdays with his big sister, Tracie.
His father's work took the family around the world, living in Scotland and Singapore. He attended Blinn Junior College before joining the Navy in 1989 where he served as an Operations Specialist stationed in Japan, serving in the Gulf War until 1993. He continued his service in the Navy Reserves upon his return to Houston. His working career was spent in the commercial and residential pool industry.
Though he always maintained a warrior spirit, Jamie had a very kind heart, always looking for ways to help someone. He treasured time with his family and friends and sharing his great culinary skills with them. Jamie was a proud veteran and also enjoyed volunteering to help other veterans.
Jamie is survived by his wife Tracy McLaren Renfroe, and daughter, Hannah Jo Renfroe of Halifax, Canada. He is also survived by his son, Alexander Renfroe; Mother, Ginger Renfroe Blanton; sister Tracie Renfroe; sister-in-law Amber Alonso; niece Avery Alonso; sister Renee Renfroe; nephew Andrew Hepler and wife Ella; uncle Jesse Nelson, and cousins Claire Nelson and Amy Kling and her husband Scott.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
