Janice Wood Obituary

Wood
Janice Kay Wood, 64, of South Houston, left us Sunday, March 13, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Janice was born September 14, 1946 in Madill, OK. She is preceded in death by her husband, Randell G. Wood, and is survived by her son, David A. Wood, and sister, Virginia Hicks.
An informal gathering of friends and family will take place Saturday, March 19th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Niday Funeral Home, located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston TX 77089
In lieu of flowers, remember Janice with a contribution to the American Cancer Society, or the MS Society.

David,

I was so sad to read about the passing of your mother. My husband worked with Woody for 30 years. We spent many great times together at the cape during the launches with Woody and Janice. Your mother was a wonderful person. I know God will wrap his arms around you and your family during this difficult time. God bless you.
