Jason Roberts Obituary

JASON MORGAN ROBERTS of Houston passed gently into our Lord's hands Saturday, February 28, 2004. Jason 31, was born on June 27, 1972 in Yuma, Arizona but lived most of his life in Houston. He graduated in 1991 from Pasadena High School. Preceeding his present employment with Getronics as a Software Engineer, Jason worked for Sperry-Sun/Halliburton and then briefly for Kent Electronics. Remembered for his quick wit, his charming personality, which always brought a smile to all those he met, Jason will always be remembered for his outstanding, commanding and expressive voice. Jason will in addition be remembered for his vast encyclopedic knowledge of sports, and his passion and knowledge of music that spanned several generations. He lived life richly and deeply, and loved his wife Amber, son Jacob Morgan and daughter McKenzie Taylor, his mother Gloria Roberts, brothers, Clayton Benjamin and Myles Roberts, Maternal grandparents Joseph and Maggie Kainer, paternal grandmother, Ann Roberts. Preceded in death by his father, John Michael Roberts. Jason leaves a legacy of compassion that will not be forgotten. Thank you Lord for my husband who is my best friend and truly the only love of my life, a loving father, precious son, and dear brother. The Roberts family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 9:00pm on Wednesday March 3, 2004 at Earthman Gulf Chapel, 6330 Gulf Frwy. The Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Thursday March 4, 2004 at Earthman Gulf Chapel.

I used to work with Jason at Getronics, but remember him mostly in passing, and a good natured hello, both ways. Good journey in the here-after. I wish the best that can be had to his wife, and family.
