Jean Mill Obituary

JEAN MARY MILL died Saturday, the 23rd of August 2008 at the age of 81. Born in Northampton England on the 17th of May 1927 to Harry and Lily Wells. The family moved to Rugby England during the Second World War. During and after the war she held several jobs both for the war effort and to help out family finances. Jean met her husband, George Mill, following the end of the war. After George completed his university education they moved to Houston, where he eventually started working for Shell Oil. Jean was a tremendously extroverted individual who had a real love for life. She loved to travel, socialize, and laugh. She loved to be on the go doing and seeing things. Everyone she touched will miss her sense of humor and infectious laughter. She was the perfect hostess of so many Shell parties. Jean was a member of numerous organizations and societies and traveled extensively with them. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She leaves behind her son Stewart, brothers Ron, John, Brian and Sydney Wells, and sister Marjorie Scott. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 3 at 2pm at Klein Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Klein Memorial Park & Crematory SH 249, Tomball, Texas 77375. In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
