Jean Suman Obituary

JEAN CRABB SUMAN passed away Saturday the 14th of June 2003 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Fergus, Ontario, Canada on January 3, 1915. Her exuberant love of life and outgoing personality touched everyone around her and she set an example of strength and perseverance to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 53 years John R. Suman, Jr. and her three daughters, Stephanie Suman Taylor of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth Suman Davis of Atlanta, Georgia and Margaret Suman of Dunedin, New Zealand, grandchildren Jason David Taylor, Craik Davis, Jr., Helen Suman Boebel, and Richard Suman Boebel and nephews Richard Harlan Suman, Jr. of Austin, Texas, John McLean "Tio" Suman of Houston, Texas, and Howard Crabb of Petrolia, Ontario, Canada and niece Holly DeBlaire of Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, June 17th, 2003, from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, 2003, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main St. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates the kindness and care provided by her loving caregivers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
