Remember that one quote, you'll make us write EVERYDAY?! And we also had to recite over and over until everyone not only repeated after you; but we had to say it like we meant it!!
Honestly, I didn't understand the quote. Being a 15 year old in a high school history class was uninteresting enough!
I've always been obident so of course I did it with no hassle.
BUT IN MY MIND..
"This man is crazyyyyy; can we just get this stuff over with"
& unfortunately it took until I graduated in 2012 & finding out about your passing; when EVERYTHING CLICKED!!!
"TODAY I choose, to be the best that I can be; and not waste the gift of today!"
I realized, in the mist of your own battles; you handled us young adults very well! You were very positive & optimistic!
I'm now a Youth Orator and I not only share this quote with them; I also have them repeat after me; with pride!!!
Thank you Coach Andrews! Thank you for reminding me daily how precious life is despite what we're going through!

Jeff coaches my son in football at Spring High School. Jeff was #30 and my son was #30 and took great pride he got to have the same number as Coach Andrews. He touched so many lives and was such a wonderful example to all. He will always carry a special place in our hearts.

Aunt shelly, billy, courtnie and dillon, yall are in josh's and i's prayers. Uncle jeff was an inspiration to alot of people; his co-workers, friends, students, players and family memebers. Shelly and family,
I worked at SHS all the years that Jeff worked there too. We were very close friends because the library is where people stopped by for the paper or to drop off things to be laminated. The newspaper was there and he would check out the sports pages and he would do that regulary,also. I would see him two times a week to laminate the plays for the the football team. We became great friends instantly and my husband and I went to all football games too. Jeff was the friend that understood your problems and concerns and he would always pray for you too. He would tell me "Jesus loves you, Norma". Thanks Jeff for all the memories and for touching the lives of all of the students. You are with Jesus now with no pain or sorrow. We love you and the family so very much.

Please know our prayers are with you all, and Jeff is so happy with Jesus, and free of pain right now. I worked at SHS all of Jeff's years, and I was a personal friend of his, too. My husband and I would go to all of the Spring football games for many years, also. He always would make me laugh and pick me up with "Jesus Loves You, Norma!" Jeff was an amazing teacher, coach and a wonderful concerned friend, that touched so many lives. I am so thankful I was able to be part of his life, too. Jeff was a good friend and neighbor.He would pick up my kids and drive them around on the outside of his suv while reaching out and holding on to them from his window .I remember him out with the kids doing fireworks even though finger burnt and raw from the lighter ,he kept on playing with them . He will be missed ,but only for a short time, till we see him again in heaven !thank you Jeff for being a positive influence to me ,my wife and kids.

Coach Andrews was my favorite teacher throughout my 4 years in high school..his class was the one I would always look forward to going to because he made it so fun. When my mom told me he passed away I busted out crying..he will be truly missed :(

Jeff Andrews loved Jesus. I witnessed countless acts of caring, encouragement, prayer and laughter from this man. He loved his family, his church, his colleagues and his precious students. Coach, you will never know how much you helped me change my life. You pushed me through the years of hardship that I thought I would never get over. We even talked about a girl who was in your class, who is now my wife and mother of my 3 kids. And when i saw you 2 months ago, you told me to take care of them above most, i will not let you down.
