Dear Kent, Sheila and Kent Jr.,
Although I have been sad at the loss of my own mom this past week, I have found it very hard to stop thinking about you. Jeremy was such a sweet young man. I don't remember a time when I saw him that he wasn't smiling. Well, he is smiling ear to ear now, cause he is with his Lord. I am sure my mom will watch out for him up there till we can all join them.
Lots of Love, Glenda & Bobby Laird

Kent, Sheila, and Little Kent,
My heart goes out to you for such a sad loss. I remember when Jeremy was born and what a treasure he was to Little Kent as he was growing up. God couldn't have blessed those two boys with more special parents. You are in my thoughts and prayers now and will be in the days to come.

Mrs. Fowler:
My son Cory Mead was in your 3rd grade class at College Park Elementary school years back. When Cory was in ninth grade at Laporte High School, he had a pig named Haminator that he wanted to show at the Harris County Livestock Show. I am thinking that we ran into you and your family at the show and your son was possibly showing a steer. Some of my memories have faded about this time period. Cory didn't get to show Haminator because of illness. I lost Cory on June 18, 2002. When I heard from a friend about your son, it broke my heart to know that any other parent has to endure the loss of a child. My thoughts go out to you, your husband, and your older son. If you ever have a chance, please sign Cory's guestbook at this same website. Just type in Cory Mead. Again, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Kent, Sheila and family,
I am sad to learn of your loss. Jeremy was a great kid (young man), who had the kindest heart and would do anything for anyone. I know he has gone to be with God in Heaven because he was never afraid to show he was a Christian. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr and Mrs Fowler,
I love you both as my own parents and I loved your son just as much. My heart is broken at the thought of this unfortunate death. Jeremy touched many lives including mine in a way that it has never been touched. I will miss him and I will love him until my dieing day. With the utmost regards.

Kent, our hearts are breaking for you and your family. I can remember watching Jeremy ride his bicycle to elementary school. This is such a tragedy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts are broken by the loss of Jeremy. We had not seen him since we moved from Deer Park in 2001, but remember him as a delightful child and teenager with a wonderful sense of humor. As a youth worker at FBC Deer Park, I had the pleasure of spending time with Jeremy, the pre-teen. Knowing Jeremy enriched our lives and we mourn his loss.
