Jerry Carlisle Obituary

Jerry Wayne Carlisle
July 23, 1940 - May 12, 2022
Jerry Wayne Carlisle, 81, of Frisco, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, in Frisco, TX.

Jerry was born in Houston to A W and Mildred Carlisle on July 23, 1940. He married Barbara Carlisle on July 19, 1984. He worked in finance and administration for Baker Services Tools for many years and went on to retire from Harris County. He was active in the community and shared his time and talents generously for Northwoods Presbyterian Church. He loved to play tennis but loved the friends that played with him more. He made us all laugh with his talks about where to find the cheapest gas, the best discount on groceries, and we all knew who to call before a purchase as he always had Consumer Reports right by his side.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents A W and Mildred Carlisle. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Sacerich), his two sons Jereme Carlisle and his wife Kathy of Plano, TX, and Brian Carlisle of Cypress, TX, his brothers David and wife Barbie Carlisle of Pearland, TX and Roy and wife Glenda Carlisle of Ranchos de Taos, NM and grandchildren Meckalah, Jackson, Anna, and Emily Claire as well as many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Jerry's medical team at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Centennial.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Northwoods Presbyterian Church with the Paul Nazarian, officiating.

Jerry "Wayne" was one of my best friends. We enjoyed over 40 years of friendship and blessings bestowed on both of us. I will forever cherish those special memories. To the family of Jerry...God is in charge of us all. Be thankful for Jerry during his time here. His legacy should live on--though all of us. Peace and blessings!
