Jerry was a great friend and mentor to me and my son. We met in 2005 at his home and became very close both personal and business. I called him every holiday and every hurricane season to check on him and see if there was anything he needed.I learned more from him in the short time we were friends than I could have ever learned on my own.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was a leader in our industry and very gererous to the Jewish community. I enjoyed the period of time I was employed by your parents and I learned a great deal from them. Best wishes to your family during this difficult time.

I am very sorry for your loss. He was like the grandfather i did not have. Over the years i grew to know him fairly well and i knew he wished to be with his wife again. We have the same birthday Dec. 4 so i would call him every year to wish him happy birthday. Every time he would ask how i could remember that but i never let him in on the secret. I laughed with him, joked with him, yelled at him with him yelling back and both of us smiling, and i will mourn his passing greatly. I spoke with him last thursday and was supposed to call him Tuesday. He made sure to tell me not to forget to call him. I will call the house tonight and not leave a message just so i can say i called. I will sincerely miss him and working on his cars. God Bless

Dear Family of Jerry and Jean,
I remember with fondness your parents being together in the early days riding around together, looking after their investments. He gave my husband Pierre a chance to earn extra money for our young family, doing sign work for him. We went on to make our fortune in Dallas, but will always remember with fondness his checks signed "Jerry J Moore, Owner. I offer you my sincerest condolences.
