To All the Blackmon Family - I heard of Jesse's passing at NAPE from a mutual friend and have had all of you in my thoughts since then. I worked with Jesse at Petro-Lewis in the 80s. I had then and continue to have so much respect for his integrity and brilliance. He was such a funny guy, called me by my last name (though I'm a woman). It made me feel equal to the men I worked with. Jesse taught me a great deal about the business, using patience all the way. The real world feels emptier knowing he's not in it, his spirit was so large. We hadn't emailed or spoken in a long time but I will miss him. God bless all of you. I'll always remember your Dad and your Partner. His stories will live on..

To all members of Jesse's family.....
We, of Jesse's high school class of '66, are very sad to hear of his passing. Jesse was a good friend of mine throughout high school. Actually, his gentle spirit and quiet humor were favorites of all of us. We shall miss him; please know that we are all thinking of you guys and sending you love and hugs, carolyn perna

Our heartfeld sympathy is with you all. We were so sorry to hear about Jesse, it was a real surprise to us. Even though we have never met, we were very close to Jesse in his younger years. Kenneth and Jesse were first cousins. We visited many, many times and always many great memories. Also, thanks to Jesse for taking his time to work on the family history book we have all really enjoyed. Jesse & I (Joyce) were both at NJC at the same time also.

Dear Jesse Blackmon family-
I pray for your confort in the loss of Jesse. It was a loss to the class of '66 as well. I have so many memories of Jesse and they all bring a smile to my face. We used to keep our horses on property close to Jesse's house (where the shopping center is now.) Jesse and I were classmates at Sam Houston, Collins, Chs and NJC. At NJC we really had a great time together. We had a bet on who could go the longest without wearing socks. (It was cool back then to wear Bass Wejuns without socks.) We both went the entire year without socks. Jesse was a good, good friend. We share in your loss.

Jesse most recently worked with me on a pipeline installation in Beaumont TX . Jesse was our contracts advisor and he was my crutch. I could always go to him to him to negotiate the hard issues. He was genuine and built a great relationship with the contractor. We will miss him. Love to you Dasha

Dear Daria, Brandon and Justin,
Jesse and I first met when we worked together in Moscow and later in Yuzno Sakhalinsk for EM. We had some great times together, particularly when he bought the large oil painting of Lenin - for me he will be sorely missed - he was a good friend. My sincere condolences to you all. God bless you.

Blackmon Family:
I worked with Jesse at Union Texas Petroleum. A man of great integrity who always had a story to share over lunch. I had the opportunity to speak with Jesse a few times over the last several weeks to relive some of those good memories. He will truly be missed.
