Jesse Conerly

Jesse Luther Conerly passed away at the age of 98 with his son and daughter-in-law at his side in Pearland on March 1, 2012. He was born in Marion County, Mississippi on October 1, 1913 to J. L. and Louisa Evelyn (Herrington) and he was one of thirteen siblings. He was married to Louise Walter on April 5, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana until her death in March 1999. Jesse was a resident of the Houston/Pearland area from 1937 until his death.
He is survived by his son Owen and wife Norma; grandson James and wife Phoebe; granddaughter Brenda Fredrichsen, along with seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to Maria Ramos for her health care help for Jesse as well as her help for Louise Conerly. The service celebrating Jesse's life will be held at 11:00am Monday, March 5, 2012, at Niday Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
