Jimmie Reaves Obituary

JIMMIE NEAL REAVES, 62, of Meadows Place, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005 at his home. He was born June 15, 1942 in Dallas, Texas, to George Warren and Martha Laverne Reaves. Jim was a long-time resident of Meadows Place and an avid ham radio operator, KB5SSD. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Gloria Jean Smith Reaves; sons, Warren Bradley Reaves and his wife Cindy, and Gregory Neal Reaves; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Reaves, Jordan Nichole Reaves, Nicholas Scott Reaves, Tarah Alysse Reaves, Melinda Kaye Campbell, and Melissa Anne Campbell; uncle, Rev. James E. Reaves and his wife Catherine; aunt, Charline Kimsey; and other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Heritage Baptist Church, 2223 FM 1092, Missouri City, with Pastor Charles Murphy, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The American Heart Association, 10060 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77054, or to The American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Drive, Suite 175, Houston, TX 77057.
