Heartfelt sympathy to Joe's dear family he loved you all so much. My memories of Joe were how he always challenged me to be my absolute best in all I did at NASA and for him. He was one of a kind. You knew when Joe walked into a room, an idea was going to be born. I am thankful for the greatness he shared with me and I know from his sharing he is home with our Lord. Like the rose, your memory is so beautiful. Love, Bettie M. Carney

I supported Joe as a contractor at NASA. I will always remember him as a kind, warm, and decent man. He had a sense of humor that not everyone saw. He enjoyed his high-tech "toys" and making things work to save a few dollars. He called me and a few others "kemosabe", which means "friend". I will miss Joe.

I have only Known Joe for two years but he has made a very big impression on my life. I have come to know "as Joe would say" it is either black or white there is no gray. It is either right or wrong no maybe. I will greatly miss him at the clinic. And the one I will remember always "SMOOTH IS GOOD"

The world will miss Joe Pouzar. I worked with him for 30 years at NASA and found that he was a tribute to the Space Program. We have been patients of Joe Jr. and his wife Linda at their clinic in Clear Lake for several years.

As one of many who knew him as "Papa Joe" at Clear Lake Family Physicians, I can say I will really miss his humor and his generosity. I appreciate how he always made me think. He may have taken me around the block, through the woods, over a hill and across a river to get me there . . . but he did get me there, in his very unique way. My heart goes out to Mrs. Pouzar, Dr. Joe and Dr. Linda, and of course, the joys of his life, Carole and Kimmy. I'm sure there was never a prouder Pa-Pa.
