I would like to express my heart felt sympathy to the whole Kirkpatrick family and especially to my brother (half-brother) Joel Bryant Kirkpatrick III. I only met JB once that I can remember, I was only a child. I would like Barbara, David and Anne to know that I had all of them in my prayers for their loss, and of course my own brother Bryant as well. God Bless you all and help you through this time.

My brother, Abe Reichstein, was a Galveston Daily News associate of Joel, and a very dear friend to him. I met Joel on many occasions, and he was one of the greatest persons I had ever known--down to earth and very compassionate. I shall miss him. My heartfelt sympathy to members of the Kirkpatrick family.
