Just learned of Dr. Alaniz's passing. He was the most wonderful physician I had ever encountered and was lucky to have been his patient for many years. I saw him at age 34 (no kids at that time) and he asked me when I was going to have a baby. I laughed it off and said I had plenty of time. He got very serious and looked me in the eyes and said "Don't wait too long, OK?" That gave me chills. I was pregnant by the following March! I credit him with our beautiful daughter. Our only. Thank God he woke me up at that visit. The world was a better place with him in it. His bedside manner was unmatched. Rest in peace always sweet Dr. Alaniz. You were the best!

I am so very sad to hear of Dr. Alaniz's passing. I started with him in 1980 and was with him until he retired. He was a wonderful man. We always had good conversations and I never "hated" going to the doctor. My condolence's to Anne and the family.

Dr. Alaniz was my only Dr for his field. I started seeing him at 18 (1989)and was with him until he retired. He delivered all 5 of my children and was there for a tragic miscarriage. He was kind and caring and I just heard about his passing. I am shocked and saddened. A lifetime with a Dr who shared your most precious moments in life and brought your most precious littles into the world, he will be greatly missed.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of my Doctor. He delivered both my children one 2004 and the other 2010. He set the tone of what to look for in a Physician. He always walked in shook my hand, sat down and asked about life in general first. Never was rushed and he always listened. RIP to you Dr. ALANIZ. A GREAT MAN.

John was my Dr. from his beginning until he retired. John was a great Dr., a great person and a good friend. I knew his family so we always had to catch up on what was going on with our families. He loved coming to the hill country and being in a different environment ! I am so so sorry to hear of his passing but glad he isnt suffering any more. I am praying for Anne and family! ❤
