1939-2018
John Charles Cook, 78, passed away on September 15, 2018.
John was a lifelong Police Officer, he retired as Chief of Police for Spring Valley Village with more than 20 years of service.
Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Pat and your family. I remember when we first joined the Graphics committee and met you that my Dad knew John from the Mason Lodge. He spoke highly of him. My Dad was also with the HC Sheriffs Dept.
The loss of a loved one is so hard but the good memories can never be taken away! ❤❤

To the Cook family, John was a very special man. I worked with him at the Sheriff's Office and later I was Chief at the Memorial Villages. John was always the best and will be missed. May God bless and protect John's family..
