PASTOR JOHN EARL HAHN
1922-2015
JOHN EARL HAHN, 92, of Spring, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home. He was born November 14, 1922, in North Zulch, TX, to John and Katherine Ollie Hahn. He graduated from North Zulch High School with honors and from Sam Houston State University. Earl served the Lord in ministry for 72 years, serving as the Lead Pastor at Faith Temple Baptist Church for more than 60 of those years. He enjoyed serving the Lord, sports, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Debbie Hahn; sons, Johnny and Wayne Hahn; daughters-in-law, Georgia and Vicke Hahn; grandchildren, Michael, Nick, Matthew, Amanda, and Andrew; great-granddaughter, Canaan Hahn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joy Lee Hahn; and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends are invited to visit with his family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, in the funeral home chapel. A brief visitation followed by a committal service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, TX.
