I got to know Hugh in the early 1980s in Denver and was the better for it. A young man striving to be the best he could be. That's all any of us can do. RIP

What I admired most about Skip was his unpretentiousness. He always had a smile on his face, and had a true zest for life. I'm glad he was able to make the last two Travel Clubs. We will miss you Skip.

Skip was a great leader, friend and brother. I will always remember him for the times we spent at Southwestern, 'rolling' and pontificating on the mystries of life. He goes to prepare a place for us all. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Sincerely,

Skip was four years younger than I, so I came to know him after my days as an active KA at Southwestern. I lived in San Antonio during the 70's but made many trips back to SU during that time. This guy was one of the nicest, friendliest people -- the kind a person is lucky to get to know. I enjoyed seeing Skip at the Travel Club meetings in New Braunfels this year and last. He is missed.

I will always remember the great times I had with Skip especially the parties I attended at his home during Christmas holiday. He was a wonderful fraternity brother and although I haven't seen him in years, his memory is precious to me and he will never be forgotten.

Sincerely yours,

Winn Alley

Skip,

I'll always cherish the fond memories of you through KA. You were a true friend and Brother.

One can never forget the summer nights on the porch of the mansion. The trip to Arkansas, The introduction to Johnny Walker Red, and your tipical greeting of "How The Hell Are You".

I'm glad we got to spend time together at KAITC last month. You will forever be in my thoughts and be truly missed.

Say hi to Newton for me, There's a great group of Brothers that have gone ahead of you so I know your in good company. I'll see you at the encircled cross when it's my time. Untill then I raise my glass to you and sing, Here's to Skip, He's a Damn Fine Guy !!

KA forever, The Little General
