Not sure what to say?

I got to know Hugh in the early 1980s in Denver and was the better for it. A young man striving to be the best he could be. That's all any of us can do. RIP
Harry Herbst

Skip - Your humor, wit and great personality will be greatly missed. I cherished our 31 years of friendship and I'm sure your in happier place now! Thanks for all the good times and save me a seat at that blackjack table in the sky!

What I admired most about Skip was his unpretentiousness. He always had a smile on his face, and had a true zest for life. I'm glad he was able to make the last two Travel Clubs. We will miss you Skip.

Just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mildred Weber, Julia and David Wheatley

Skip was a great leader, friend and brother. I will always remember him for the times we spent at Southwestern, 'rolling' and pontificating on the mystries of life. He goes to prepare a place for us all. My deepest sympathies to his family.
Sincerely,
Geo. C. Jones

Brother Skip, Rest in Peace

Skip, your hardy handshake, great sense of humor and welcome smile will be missed. We KA brothers will all be with in the the presence of the Lord. You will be missed in the meantime. Clay Cornett

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Liedtke family.

Skip was four years younger than I, so I came to know him after my days as an active KA at Southwestern. I lived in San Antonio during the 70's but made many trips back to SU during that time. This guy was one of the nicest, friendliest people -- the kind a person is lucky to get to know. I enjoyed seeing Skip at the Travel Club meetings in New Braunfels this year and last. He is missed.
