9/20/2024 - I did not learn about JBs passing until today, and it saddens me greatly. We attended TTU together, and while I did not realize it at the time, she was a highlight of my life. Best to all and special prayers for JB and children,
Jim, as in Johnie, Susan Vest, Judi Henry, Tony, Bove, and Jim Loyd

Bill, Matt & Kellie,

I am so very sorry to hear about Johnie's passing. I was out of town on vacation and unable to attend the services on Thursday. I considered Johnie to be a very good friend and neighbor, and I will miss her. May God keep you in His hands during this sad time. My deepest sympathies are with you all.

Precious, precious lady. I have known Johnie since she was a small child. Kathy was/is my best friend. Johnie was such a lively, delightful child. Always full of life and laughter. Our loss is heaven's gain. My prayers are with you all.

We will always remember Johnie's sweet smile and upbeat, positive attitude even when you knew she did not feel well. She was a warm, friendly, and classy lady that always put a person at ease. We already miss seeing her drive up in her shiny new red convertible mustang (a gift from her son) that she so treasured.

There is no way I can type words to fully describe how wonderful and awesome a person my Aunt Johnie was to everyone. She had a love for life and people that just made you feel good to be around her. Now she is in Heaven and can serve JESUS there. The last words I spoke to Johnie were "I LOVE YOU". That LOVE will never end. I am 41 years old now, but when I was about 6 years old with a bur haircut Aunt Johnie was the best headscratcher I knew. Johnie, I will see you in Heaven someday!!

Serving JESUS,

James

I had the pleasure & honor to work with Johnie for the past 4 years at FBISD. I knew the first time I met Johnie what a special person she was and what an impact she must have had on her students and co-workers in her teaching career. My brother-in-law died from cancer 1 1/2 years ago. As a family member, I didn't realize the extent of wonderful relationships and mentoring he had in his work career. I wanted you to know how much Johnie will be missed with work family and friends in her teaching career. She always made you fee like you were a special person to her. We are all very lucky that we knew Johnie and that she touched our lives.
