Dad... It's going on four years already and it seems as if it were just yesterday. I don't understand how it's suppose to get easier. If you ask me it just gets harder and harder. I miss you more and more each and every day. Albert seems to bring you up a lot, he always wants me playing your song, he tears up at times and tells me how much he misses you and till this day he can not believe your no longer here with us. Lexie is your spit image dad. So many people tell me she looks like you. "La mirada de mija is just like yours"! I was so blessed with that little angel that looks so much like you. We love and miss you always!

wow... I don't even know where to begin... I myself have been wanting to come write a few thoughts about Mr. Esquivel... Cindy, you are my best friend and my heart aches for you.... Your dad was like a dad to me when we were growing up... he took me under his wing when my family was going through hard times.... always willing to give an encouraging word and look on the bright side of things....I can remember having those talks with him when he would act serious and tell me to keep an eye on you and make sure you weren't giving any trouble at school.. :) I also remember a few years ago when we went to Houston for Christy's 15 he promised me that he would come to louisiana and build our house whenever we were rady to build... I know that he was a man of his word so I can be expecting a mansion when I get to heaven... I love you Cindy , you are my sister and I will continue to lift you and your family up in prayer... Mr. Esquivel, you made a pwerful impact on my life and I am honored to have known you and to be a part of your family!

"Missing You Daddy"

No word's I write can ever say how much I miss you everyday. As time goes by, the loneliness grows; How I miss you DAD, Nobody knows! I think of you in silence, I often speak your name, But all I have are memories and photos in a frame. No one knows my sorrow, No one sees me weep, But the LOVE I have for you DAD is in my HEART to keep. I've never stopped loving you DAD.. I'm sure I never will; Deep inside my heart, You are with me still.
Heartaches in this world are many. But mine is worse then any. My heart still aches as I whisper your name in a low voice. I need you dad!! "And I miss you so much" The things we feel so deeply are often the hardest to say, But I just can't keep quiet any more,
So I'll tell you anyway. There is a place in my heart that no one else can fill; I LOVE YOU DAD!!! WITH ALL MY HEART>> TIL WE MEET AGAIN>> YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND FATHER>> LOVE YOU DAD, CLAUDIA<3

Well what can I say...Dad I MISS you so much! Everyday that goes by I ask myself why my DADDY? My DAD was & will always be the BEST DAD in the world! Today was suppose to be a special day for me, it's Mother's Day my first Mother's Day without my DAD. It was very hard for me, my DADDY always took us out to eat, he would get after the boys for acting up, & he would even get after me. I've been wanting to write a message here for awhile already, but just didn't know what to say & today I was already in bed & something told me to come write...nobody knows how hard it is for me to live my life without my DADDY! It's so hard for me to be in the office looking at all the notes my DAD would leave me. My DADDY always did everything for me, anything his little girl wanted I would get no matter what! I was always DADDY'S little girl & always will be! He always took good care of me & now I know hes watching over me even though I wished he was here with me hes not, but one day we will meet again DAD & that will be forever! I miss my DADDY so much, I know that sometimes it might seem that I'm not hurting, but I really am! I miss my DADDY calling me, telling me "Cindy go do this, have you done that, call me when you do it, but most of all I miss him telling me he loves me & to be careful! Everytime we would talk or see each other our last words were I LOVE YOU & BE CAREFUL! On Friday the 24th of April I saw my DAD for the last time in the office, he was sitting on my chair typing up a check, I had to take Albert to practice & the last words I told my DAD were "DAD I LOVE YOU & BE CAREFUL", gave him a kiss & walked off not knowing that was going to be the last time I would see my DAD alive! I could go on & on, but I think this is good enough atleast for today...I LOVE YOU ALWAYS DADDY! YOUR LITTLE GIRL CINDY

We all loved our Tio Luy. He was a caring man who looked out for everyone. He will be missed so much. The memories at his home and at his ranches will never be forgotten. He loved sharing his happiness. I thank God for allowing me to share my uncle with my daughters. We will never forget his laugh, his jokes (always telling the girls "This is my HOUSE!", no matter who's house he was in, or "This is my FOOD!", when he caught the girls eating) and his dancing. Our hearts ache and our bodies are tired from the grief of this tremendous loss. May God give us the strength to carry on and may my uncle's favorite saints, Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Jude, look over us and provide us comfort in our time of need.

I have this feeling, there's one more star up in the sky tonight. And even though its far away, its brightness and warmth still reaches us here to make the night a little less dark. Tio Luy was a great man and very helpful to everyone that crossed his path. Now he is enjoying the eternal glory with our father in heaven. He will be watching over The Esquivel family. May you find comfort in knowing how may people share your sadness. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

JOSE LUIS ESQUIVEL,
A well loved and beautiful man I have had the pleasure of knowing these last 12 plus years. Why this had to have happen, we will NEVER know. I know that God has received his Head Angel the day you departed from us, and that you are looking down now at all your loved ones hurting. I ask that you please send your strength down here to my husband and the others that WILL not accept or believe what has happen. Let them understand that God let this world borrow you for the 56 plus years, and now has called you home. Let him (them) know that you will always and forever watch over them and protect them for eternity. My husband has always told me how you are his favorite UNCLE, except now he can not hold back the tears. By you living your life the way you did, you have taught him how to be a respectful, honest, devoted business man and family man. I ask that you give him (them) your strength, so that he (they) may be strong for themselves and his (their) families. Let him (them) know that just as much as he (they) admired, loved, respected, cherished, and appreciated you, that you felt the same about them.
You will always be REMEMBERED for the Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Godfather, Friend, Boss, etc. that you are and always will be.
God Bless you and your loved ones, always.
