Joseph Frederick Obituary

Joseph Lloyd Frederick, 88, passed away on March 5, 2007. Joe was born in Houston, Texas on December 10, 1918. He served in the army during WWII, and was stationed in the Pacific. Joe retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad where he worked as a car inspector at Englewood Yards for 40 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Hazel Dean Frederick; and his seven siblings. He is survived by his daughters; Gloria Berger and husband Walter; Barbara Love and husband Paul; and grandchildren, Travis Poe and Elizabeth Love. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home and especially Rhonda Hunsucker, for the care and love they showed to Joe during his last year.
