Joseph Maloch

Joseph A. Maloch, 88, of Houston passed away peacefully April 22, 2011. He was born August 20, 1923 in Gonzales, TX to August and Julie Maloch. Joe proudly served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Altamaha in the Pacific. Joe was an avid gardener, and his backyard bar-b-cue's brought family and friends together. He believed in God, Family and the Country he fought for and leaves us many memories to cherish. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn Maloch; brother, Fred Maloch. Joe is survived by his three loving children Carolyn Scogin and husband Glenn, Linda Crane and husband David, David Maloch and wife Wendy. Three sisters, Ann Faltysek, Betty Shoup, Dorothy Yannazzo; his cherished grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express a heartfelt Thanks to Autumn Grove-Copperbrook and A*Med Community Hospice for their care and support for our father during his illness. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A celebration of life will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
