Joseph Zimmerman Obituary

JOSEPH RICHARD ZIMMERMAN of Houston, Texas passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006. He was born in Canfield, Ohio on December 29, 1927 to George L. and Helen Zimmerman, and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly; Children: Joe R. and his wife Nancy; Mark A. and wife Pat; Kurt David and wife Rhonda; Kris Steven and wife Amber; Grandchildren: Allison, Cari, Jared, Kurt, Kai, Chad and Dustin. "Joe" served his country in the Army and was a Master Mason of Bellaire #1336 and Ruthven Commandery #2, K.T. He founded Zimmerman Plumbing Company in 1968 and was active until his retirement in 1994. For the past 12 years, he and Beverly have traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada in their motor home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 9 at Peace Lutheran Church located at 1026 Radio Lane at Avenue I in Rosenberg, Texas 77471. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Houston Hospice and Palliative Care System, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030-4123.
