Pastor Joshua S. Hawkins, expired (Wednesday) December 25, 2019. Visitation will be held (Saturday) January 4, 2020 from 8-9:55 a.m. Service at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Church @ Bethel's Family, 12660 Sandpiper Dr., Dr. Walter August, officiating. Interment, Houston Memorial Gardens.

The HAWK still flies!! It's now 5 yrs since my brother in arms flew away. There is NONE like him and none to even stand to fill his space. I am continually thankful for reuniting with Keith Hawk though -- What a Blessing he has been! The Legacy of the HAWK lives on!

The HAWK still flies ! I was recently asked who is the best lead gospel singer of all time. Many names came up - Sam -- Joe--Ira--Cleve-- just to name a few. But ,and I must say - my opinion is bias . The HAWk -- was --is -- will be my choice for No. 1. His legacy sons Aaron and Keith are sons of the KING who serve well. Grateful they are part of our lives. REMEMBER the HAWK!!

I looked for Rev. Hawkins for a few months to see how he was, Heard of his passing on Friday and was saddened, I hate I missed his service. He married my husband and I in 2015,was a co-worker with him, he sang at our wedding and people still ask about him. Me Deepest Condolences to the family, he will be missed!!

Joshua Hawkins: Front man and floor general: Lead singer extraordinaire of the S.O.P.R.O.C.O.S. Singers of Houston.His fiery vocals lifted his audiences to such heights everyone in the room was changed. The "SOPROCOS Experience" was in large part due to him. His flame is ignited in the hearts of all who served along side him and all who loved him. He will NOT be forgotten.
